Light and Bright

The complex is still under construction, but several of the units are finished or all but finished.  Others are far enough along for you to fill in the blanks.  The units have floor to ceiling windows that allow for maximum light.  Of course, the south facing units had more light, but the north facing units were surprisingly bright.  I've been there on a gray day with flat light, and all the units seemed full of natural light.  The condos that sit above Belmont Street (on the 2^nd and 3^rd floors) are situated such that you get a nice view of the neighborhood, with almost negligible noise from the street below. 

Finishes

All the units come with pretty much the same finishes with a couple of upgrade possibilities.  The kitchens have granite tile countertops with glass tile backsplashes and the common areas of each unit have attractive hardwood floors.  Upgrade possibilities included a kitchen island and appliances.  A big plus is that it looks like all the units come with central air.  The radiant heat in the floor had me impressed, and several of the green aspects of the building were nice to see. 

Reasonable and Comprehensive HOA Dues

The HOA dues look high at first glance, ranging from around $240 to about $460 per month per unit, but aside from costs typically covered by HOA dues (water, sewer, garbage, maintenance and etc), the HOAs also include hot water, heat and gas.  The only thing you would be paying for out of your own pocket would be electricity and insurance for the area located inside the walls of your condo.
